Victim of discomfort yesterday during an autograph session in Martinsville, Virginia, Kyle Larson was taken to the hospital for additional examinations. If the latter revealed nothing, the doctors advised the resident of the Ganassi team to take new tests this Sunday, forcing him to withdraw from the Sprint Cup Series race. Regan Smith was called in as a replacement to play in the No. 42 Chevrolet.
