The Motorsport Group could line up in NASCAR Sprint Cup Series from the first round of the Daytona 500 on February 22. Curtis Key's team has never evolved at this level, confining itself to the Nationwide Series for seven years with this year's Chevrolet numbers 40 and 49. The team only announced that it would remain loyal to the American firm in case of successful completion of the project.
