Joey Logano (Team Penske) took pole position for the Phoenix (Arizona) Xfinity Series race. The winner of the Daytona 500 in Florida last February will start in front of Kevin Harvick (JR Motorsports), author of the pole in the Sprint Cup Series race. Erik Jones (Joe Gibbs Racing), who replaces Kyle Busch, and Matt Kenseth (Joe Gibbs Racing) will start from the second row.
