The weeks go by and the cancellations keep coming in Supercars. After the Phillip Island and Gold Coast rounds, it was the Winton round, scheduled for October 3 to 5, which was canceled for the second year in a row.
« The situation is evolving rapidly and has changed significantly since we published the tentative calendar changes in July, deplores Supercars boss Sean Seamer. We regret that the current situation linked to Covid-19 has led to the cancellation. We share this disappointment ».
Supercars management is still working to ensure that the 2021 season ends with 12 rounds, 5 of which are still to be contested.
