Rowe Racing to focus on Nürburgring and Spa in 2022

Rowe Racing has announced that it will enter a BMW M4 GT3 at the 24 Hours of Nürburgring and the 24 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps this season. The German team will also participate in the five rounds of theEndurance Cup as well as two races in the Nürburgring Endurance Series. Drivers will be announced at a later date. “We are really looking forward to getting started with the new BMW M4 GT3 at the two major European 24-hour races at the Nürburgring and Spa this year, said team principal Hans-Peter Naundorf. The BMW M4 GT3 is an all-new racing car with cutting-edge technology and a much more aggressive look than its predecessor. We are all excited to work with this car. We hope to benefit from the improvements to the chassis, tuning and performance. However, we are also aware that not everything happens immediately with such a new car. Many details only become apparent during a difficult racing outing. For us, the project with the new BMW M4 GT3 is a long-term project, and always in the field of endurance racing. We entered into DTM in 2021, as we wanted to be involved in the new GT3 era of the series and see how it suited us. However, at ROWE RACING we have mainly established ourselves as a long distance team over the last ten years. This is where we can best leverage our great strengths – strategy, reliability and error management. For this year and the years to come, the opportunity presented itself for us to participate again in the 24 Hours of Spa, alongside our usual Nürburgring schedule. This is what motivated our decision, taken with our partners, to participate in the GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup in 2022.”
