Saintéloc unveils its crews for the 24 Hours of Spa

The French Saintéloc team has revealed its two line-ups for the 24 Hours of Spa (July 28-31), at the wheel of the No. 8 and No. 25 Audi R26 LMS.

Saintéloc unveils its crews for the 24 Hours of Spa

The announcements are coming one after the other before the 24 Hours of Spa. After KCMG et EMA Motorsport On Monday, it was the turn of the Saintéloc Junior Team to reveal the composition of its two crews for the Belgian event.

Winner of the event in 2017, the French team will retain the backbone of the crews which have shone since the start of the year, with the same balance between youth and experience.

In the Pro category, the No. 8 Audi R25 LMS will remain entrusted to official Audi drivers Patric Niederhauser and Christopher Mies. They will be accompanied by Lucas Légeret, who will participate in the race at the highest level of GT3 for the first time. The Swiss will want to continue his good start to the season, and build on the experience of the 2021 season, with notable performances in Indianapolis and Kyalami.

In the sister car No. 26, a quartet is lined up in the Silver Cup category. Aurélien Panis, Nicolas Baert and César Gazeau will be joined by official Audi Sport driver Gilles Magnus. A resident of WTCR with Comtoyou Racing, the Belgian is competing in the GT World Challenge Europe alongside Nicolas Baert. He will thus find a car with which he won the first race at Magny-Cours in the Silver Cup.

Sébastien Chetail, the main director of Saintéloc, is looking forward to returning to the Walloon event. “We can’t wait to return to the 24 Hours of Spa, a race that is particularly close to our hearts. Our two crews will be able to aim for great things, and I am delighted to be able to count on Lucas Légeret on the No. 25 and Gilles Magnus on the No. 26. »
