Supercars, Pukekohe ceases its motor racing circuit activities

It is in April 2023 that the popular Pukekohe park track will cease its motor racing activities, the owners of the site preferring to turn to… horse racing. Supercars will therefore race there one last time in 2022. It was the return to New Zealand since the Covid19 pandemic. This news greatly saddens all those involved in the Australian super touring championship. Scott Mclaughlin also paid a vibrant tribute to him, who had won his first career success there in 2012. He also signed a petition for the circuit to be modeled in the car simulation game I-Racing so that an indelible trace of the layout persists. The Supercars promoters are already studying a new opportunity and a new site to continue to compete in a round with the Kiwi neighbors. Next weekend will therefore be the last round of Supercars on this historic track which has seen so much talent blossom. All results will be available on Autohebdo.fr
