Gabriele Tarquini (SEAT Leon TDI), starting from pole position, won the first race in Marrakech, the second meeting of the 2010 WTCC season. The reigning World Champion beat Robert Huff (Chevrolet Cruze), Tiago Monteiro (SEAT Leon TDI) and Fredy Barth (SEAT Leon TDI) in a race shortened by the accident of Ismail Sbai (Chevrolet Lacetti) in eighth round. Yvan Muller (Chevrolet Cruze), sixth, will start in third position in the second race. Andy Priaulx (BMW 320 si), eighth, will start from pole.
