Callum Ilott returns to Indycar at Road America

Callum Ilott will make his return in Indycar after missing the final round of the Indycar schedule in Detroit. For his first participation in the Indianapolis 1, the rookie made a mistake and was forced to permanently interrupt his race. “ After spending a week out of the car in Detroit, watching the race from a slightly different perspective, I can happily say that I'll be back in the car for Road America », Explains the Briton.

« The INDYCAR medical team gave me the green light today. We have examined my hand quite thoroughly and the risk of further damage is much lower. It's always a factor, but the track surface at Road America is much less bumpy than Detroit's. »

This season, Callum Ilott achieved his best result at the Indianapolis Grand Prix by taking 7th position. “ We're delighted to have Callum back behind the wheel of JHR's #77 Chevrolet this week, explains Ricardo Juncos, co-owner and team manager of JHR.
