De Vries leads Schumacher in Hungarian testing

Nyck de Vries (ART Grand Prix), championship leader before this Hungaroring meeting in FIA F2, set the best time in the Hungarian free practice session this Friday morning.

The Dutchman completed his best lap in 1’29”236, almost three tenths ahead Mick Schumacher (Prema). Anthoine Hubert is already positioned with his car Arden is in third position, 24 thousandths behind Schumacher. Guiliano Alesi (Trident) takes 14th place.

The session was neutralized under virtual safety car regime after a spin by Sean Gelael (Prema) at turn 8, before the red flag was displayed for the exit of Ralph Boschung (Trident) , at turn 1, the driver having hit the barriers.
