Double for Charouz after Norris penalty

The two best drivers of the second race in Monaco, namely Antonio Fuoco  (Charouz Racing) and Lando Norris (Carlin) received a time penalty at the end of the event. The Englishman and the Italian would not have respected the deadline for the end of the virtual safety car, and the time gained by the two competitors was added to their race time. Fuoco keeps his victory after adding 0”8 but Norris drops back to 3^e row after adding 1''1. It therefore propels Louis Delétraz into 2^e place in the race and offers Charouz Racing its first double in addition to its first victory.

In addition to these two penalties, Roberto Merhi (MP Motorsport) was also penalized for overtaking Arjun Maini (Trident) under a safety car, his sanction of 5 seconds more demoting him from 5^e the 7^e place on arrival. Santino Ferucci (Trident) received a 10-second penalty for not having respected the race management's instructions regarding the use of the clutch in the pits. This does not impact its result and remains ranked 12^e, having been involved in the last accident of the event.
