Third in the GP3 Series last year with ART Grand Prix, the Japanese Nirei Fukuzumi, supported by Honda, will share his 2018 season in the FIA championship F2 and Japanese Super Formula. The 20-year-old driver will compete in F2 with the British team Arden and will compete in Super Formula with Team Mugen, as a teammate of Naoki Yamamoto.
Nobuharu Matsushita, present in FIA F2 in 2017 at ART Grand Prix, will also make his debut in Super Formula with Team Dandelion Racing, alongside Tomoki Nojiri.
Honda has also confirmed that Koudai Tsukakoshi will play for Real Racing in the Japanese series while the duo Narain Karthikeyan – Takuya Izawa will drive the Nakajima Racing single-seaters. Only the B-Max team has not revealed the identity of its driver.
