Very lively first outing in Jeddah where there were numerous accidents during the only free practice session before qualifying. The first to unfortunately show up was Clément Novalak (MP Motorsport). Arriving too fast at turn 15, the Habs lost control of his car but was finally able to get back to the pits. An opportunity that Cem Bolukbasi (Charouz) and Theo Pourchaire.
Respectively making mistakes in the 2nd and 3rd sectors, Cem Bolukbasi and Théo Pourchaire saw their session end in the wall after two violent off-track events forcing the marshals to wave the red flag. It now remains to be seen whether the two men will be able to participate in the qualifications scheduled for this Friday at 16:30 p.m. (French time).

Regarding times, Felipe Drugovich was the fastest man in Jeddah. The Brazilian completed his best lap in 1'44"100 ahead of Liam Lawson (Carlin) and Marcus Armstrong (Hitech GP) by one and three tenths. Ayumu Iwasa (DAMS) and Ralph Boschung (Campos) completed the Top 5.
Victim of an accident which ended the session, Théo Pourchaire was still able to establish the 7th mark of the session almost 7 tenths behind Felipe Drugovich.
