Here’s Felipe Drugovich again! In the shadow of his teammate Guanyu-Zhou (UNI-Virtuosi) since the start of the campaign after a solid rookie year, the Brazilian from the UNI-Virtuosi team was the fastest in the free practice session. He beat a decidedly very fit Ralph Boschung (Campos/+0 »021) and the Habs Theo Pourchaire (ART Grand Prix/+0 »179), who finished first rookie of the session.
As for the title battle, Guanyu Zhou (UNI-Virtuosi) is lying in wait in 4th position, while the championship leader Oscar piastri (Prema) is only 10th, behind his teammate and stage local Robert Shwartzman (Prema). Bent Viscaal (Trident) surprised everyone by taking 6th place in the session. The times are quite tight since the top 15 are only separated by a small second. Qualifying will take place at 15:25 p.m.
