Outstripped by Loïc duval (Dragon Racing) during the first free practice session of the day on the Battersea Park track in London, Great Britain, the Swiss Sébastien Buemi (e.dams-Renault) set the best time of the second session ahead of the Frenchman thanks to a reference time established in 1'23″642. Duval fails at 0″263 while Briton Oliver Turbey (NEXTEV China Racing) completes the top three, four thousandths behind Duval.
Stéphane Sarrazin (Venturi) takes 5th place ahead of championship leader Nelson Piquet Jr (NEXTEV China Racing). Absent from the first session, Jean-Eric Vergne (Andretti Autosport) finally took to the track and finished 16th ahead of Nicolas Cheers (e.dams-Renault).
