Qualcomm, partner of the Formula E and which already equips the discipline's safety car, launched a challenge to one of its robotics partners in order to create a remote-controlled car equipped with wireless charging technology and to race it against a Spark-Renault SRT_01E to demonstrate the potential of this technology (watch the video). The 100% electric single-seaters should soon receive Qualcomm Halo WEVC (Wireless Electric Vehicle Charging) wireless charging.
