Finally back, the Formula E experienced its first laps of the track this Wednesday during free practice for the first of six e-Prixes planned in Berlin over the next 10 days. From the outset, it was Oliver Rowland who appeared most at ease on the tarmac of the former Tempelhof airport.

The Nissan e.Dams driver crossed the line with a time of 1’07”834 ahead of Sam Bird and Frenchman Jean-Éric Vergne. Championship leader António Félix Da Costa ranked 11th. This first free practice session was stopped less than 10 minutes from time after James Calado stopped on track which caused a red flag.

The start of the second free practice session will be given at 11:25 a.m. before qualifying and the race scheduled for 14:00 p.m. and 18:00 p.m. respectively this Wednesday.
