For the second day of pre-season testing Formula E at the Ricardo Tormo circuit in Valencia (Spain), it is Sébastien Buemi who hoisted his Renault e.DAMS at the top of the timesheet in 1'21''890. Due to the addition of a second controversial chicane before the start-finish line, the comparison with the times of the day before is invalid, the times being increased on average by 3 seconds per lap.

The Swiss is followed in the standings by Felix Rosenqvist (Mahindra) and Sam Bird (DS Virgin), both less than a tenth from the leader. Concerning the French, Nicolas Cheers (Renault e.DAMS) signed on 5e time of the day (1'22"173) and Jean-Eric Vergne places Techeetah in 11the place (1’22”525).

Two red flags were also caused by this chicane added at the expense of Oliver Turvey (NIO) and James Rossiter (Venturi) in addition to another red flag caused by a spin by Jean-Eric Vergne .
