De Silvestro pilot development Venturi

Simona de Silvestro has been selected as a development driver by the Venturi Formula E Team for the 5th season of Formula e which will begin on December 15 in Riyadh (Saudi Arabia). The Swiss who is active in Supercars played for a season with Amlin Andretti.

“Since my races in season 2, I have followed the Formula E championship and its development closely and with interest. With the arrival of the Gen2 single-seaters, Formula E is taking a big step forward and I'm happy to be back, playing an active role, at an important and exciting time. I can't wait to drive this Gen2 and bring my experience to the team both in the simulator and on the track.", comments Venturi’s new recruit.

The Monegasque team will field Felipe Massa and Edoardo Mortara in the events.
