La Formula e enlisted the services of the London art school of Central Saint Martins to design the trophies awarded to the pilots. The Swedish Ellen Nyqvist won the competition to create the piece presented Jean-Eric Vergne (Techeetah) in mid-July during its title at the end of the 2017-18 season. The trophy compiles several turns and shapes from the circuits listed on the calendar, as well as a prose poem also written by the young artist.
The trophies awarded on the podiums were designed by Sarunas Plyskaitis and symbolize the Formula e logo, a stylized “E”.
