Cape Town wants to host Formula e

The city of Cape Town has officially expressed its desire to host a race Formula e. The e-Movement Ltd in charge of the file benefits from the support of Jaguar South Africa which acts as main supporter. Several members of Formula e management visited the potential site last September.

“The objective of their visit was to assess the possibility of Cape Town as a possible destination for a round of Formula E in the coming seasons. Three potential routes have been identified”, explained Iain Banner, the president of the project organization.
