NIO, which fields Oliver Turvey and Luca Filippi as starters for the current season in Formula E, announced the presence of the British Harry Tincknell, whom we indicate in issue 2146 of AUTOhebdo, available in digital version and on newsstands, and the Swiss Alexandre Imperatori for the Rookie Tests in Marrakech (January 14).

Tincknell will split his 2018 season between Mazda Team Joest in IMSA and Ford Chip Ganassi Racing in WEC, while Imperatori notably passed through Rebellion Racing in WEC until 2016, before competing in various events in Pirelli World Challenge, VLN, China GT or even having competed in the 24 Hours of Nürburgring last year with a BMW M6 Falken Motorsports GT3.

Imperatori is, however, no stranger to the NIO fold, having regularly driven the EP9 electric supercar during track days in China.
