Tai leaves his position as Team Principal at Virgin

Alex Tai will cease to be involved with the team Formula e Virgin Racing at the end of the 2017-18 season, as announced in a press release from the British team on Monday afternoon. The Team Principal will “focus on other activities”. The Briton Sylvain Filippi, until now in charge of the team's Technology department, has been promoted to the position of Head of Operations until the end of this season.

The identity of the next Team Principal for the 2018-19 season, the first of the car Gen2, will be revealed later.
