Will Power (Penske) was the fastest during qualifying for the second race on the program at the Harvest GP in Indianapolis, with a best lap of 2'1"08.

This is the 61st pole in the Australian's prolific career, the 4th of his season, and his 5th on the road to Indianapolis. Power will start alongside Colton Herta (Andretti).

On Friday, it was Power's teammate, Josef Newgarden, who won the first race of this doubleheader. On Saturday (from 20:30 p.m. HF), the reigning champion will start from 9th place, six places ahead of Scott Dixon, the overall leader.

The five-time series champion will be crowned this Saturday evening if he gains 15 points from Newgarden, who he is already 40 lengths ahead of.

With the French, simon pagenaud will start from 19th row, just ahead of Sébastien Bourdais (21st) who is making his comeback in IndyCar this weekend, in the No. 14 of AJ Foyt Racing.
