The leaders of the Grand-Am championship, Scott Pruett and Memo Rojas, won in the tenth event of the season on the Gilles Villeneuve circuit in Montreal. At the wheel of the BMW Riley of the Chip Ganassi Racing team, the two men dominated the race by winning with 22 seconds over the pair Alex Gruney-Jon Fogarty, who had started from pole position at the wheel of the Corvette DP from the Bob Stallings Racing team. David Donchue, Terry Borchellier and Paul Tracy (Action Express Racing) complete the podium.
