According to ItaliaRacing.net, Jean Alesi could compete in the Indy 500 with the HVM Target team which is already entering Simona de Silvestro for the famous event. The Frenchman was initially expected to register with the Newman stable-Haas Racing but Lotus now seems to be looking for other avenues for its driver.
