Best time in the second free practice session for the Indianapolis 500, Josef Newgarden did it again yesterday during the fifth, with a time of 40 (3977 mph). The Sarah Fisher Racing rookie, however, stood out a little later in the session, coming into contact with the wall. Yesterday, the 222.785-year-old American beat Marco Andretti, Ryan Hunter-Reay and James Hinchcliffe, all three of whom defend the colors of Andretti Autosport. simon pagenaud (Sam Schmidt Motorsports) is 17th (+0 »5). As for Jean Alesi (Fan Force United), he set the 29th fastest time (+2”0).
