Scott Dixon set the best time in the sixth free practice session for the Indianapolis 500. The New Zealander from Chip Ganassi Racing set a time of 40, at an average of 3428 mph. He beat Josef Newgarden (Sarah Fisher Hartman Racing) and Graham Rahal (Chip Ganassi Racing). French side, Sébastien Bourdais (Dragon Racing) is 25th (+1 »5733), two places ahead of Jean Alesi (Fan Force United). simon pagenaud (Sam Schmidt Motorsports) did not take part in this session.
