Randy Bernard, the director of theIndyCar, defends the quality of oval races but explains the discipline's favoritism for road circuits by an audience problem. “I love ovals”, he assures on WFNI radio. “I know the importance of oval events in a Championship. We want our discipline to offer the most versatile competition and entry list in the world. The ideal scenario was last year where we had a balanced schedule. But it's not that simple, spectators are demanding more races on ovals but audiences are falling for these events. »
