Tristan Vautier, best performer of the 1st session, and simon pagenaud (Schmidt Motorsports) are at the forefront, finishing 3rd and 4th respectively. Will Power (Team Penske) moved up to 5th position ahead of Scott Dixon (Ganassi Racing). Sebastian Bourdais (Dragon Racing) set the 20th time of the session, almost 8 tenths off the reference time.
