Firestone will remain the manufacturer of theIndyCar Series at least until 2014, the American manufacturer having extended its contract with the discipline for three additional seasons. The Nashville company had already signed an agreement last March to cover the 2012 and 2013 seasons. Firestone has been present in this Championship since 1996 and became the sole manufacturer of the discipline in 2000.
