US Racing indicates that Lotus' 6-liter twin-turbo V2,2 unit (developed by Judd) appears to be the most reliable at the moment following tests carried out on the Dallara DW12. Honda and Chevrolet suffered from several mechanical failures disrupting the test sessions. Engine manufacturers still have a few weeks to develop the final version of their engines.
