Carlos Munoz set the best time in the second free practice session for the Indy 500, which lasted six hours. With a time of 40, the Colombian was three hundredths ahead of his teammates Ryan Hunter-Reay, EJ Viso and Marco Andretti. AJ Allmendinger (Team Penske) follows in fifth place three tenths behind. The French are grouped together since Sébastien Bourdais (Dragon Racing) ranks 18th ahead simon pagenaud (Schmidt Motorsports).
