The crash of the 96th edition of the Indianapolis 500 should be attributed to Mike conway (AJ Foyt Enterprises) and Will Power (Team Penske). The Briton, who had received a penalty for hitting his mechanics in the pits (without causing any serious injuries), lost control of his DW12 during his exit lap in front of the Australian who was unable to avoid the wall.
