Takuma Sato (AJ Foyt – Honda) set the best time (1'02″561) in the second free practice session of the first meeting of the 2014 Verizon season IndyCar Series. He is ahead of Graham Rahal (Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing – Honda) 2nd in 1’02″612 and Will Power (Penske Racing – Chevrolet) who finished this session in 1’02″644.
With the French, simon pagenaud (Schmidt Peterson Motorsport – Honda) is 5th and Sébastien Bourdais places his KV Racing DW12 in 9th position.
