The Dale Coyne Racing team was penalized following the first race of the Houston Grand Prix which was won by its driver, Colombian Carlos Huertas. There car No. 18 did not comply with the height of the rear wing and the tank capacity. $10 and $000 fines were imposed for infractions that did not change the outcome of this first race.
