Will Power (Team Penske) set the best time of the first day of testingIndyCar at Mid-Ohio with a time of 1'04''1962. The 2014 champion improved by more than two tenths the first performance of Scott Dixon (Chip Ganassi Racing) tenth in the second session.
The Australian was ahead of Tony Kanaan (Chip Ganassi Racing) by almost three tenths, while simon pagenaud (Team Penske) set the third fastest time ahead of Graham Rahal (RLL Racing) and Josef Newgarden (Ed Carpenter Racing). Sebastian Bourdais (KVSH Racing) is 19th.
