Will Power (Team Penske) was the fastest in the second free practice session held on the Baltimore road circuit. The Championship leader set a time of 1'21"0185, four tenths ahead of simon pagenaud (Schmidt-Hamilton). Scott Dixon (Chip Ganassi Racing) is third, seven tenths behind, ahead of Rubens Barrichello (KV Racing Technology), James Hinchcliffe (Andretti Autosport) and Sébastien Bourdais (Dragon Racing). Ryan Hunter-Reay (Andretti Autosport) set the seventh fastest time, one second behind the Australian.
