IndyCar – Hunter-Reay sanctioned

American Ryan Hunter-Reay (Andretti Autosport - Honda) was penalized three points in the general classification, and was placed on probation for three races for violation of rule 9.3.3 (avoidable contact). Remember that the winner of the 500 Indianapolis 2014 was involved in the end-of-race incident with the French simon pagenaud (Team Penske – Chevrolet) and Sébastien Bourdais (KV Racing – Chevrolet).

Note that the Italian Francesco Dracone (Dale Coyne Racing? Honda), who hit one of his mechanics in the pit lane, was fined $10.000 and placed on probation for six races.
