After a year of absence, the British James Jakes, 27, will return to the games of IndyCar Series within Schmidt Peterson Motorsports, and will take the place of Mikhail Aleshin in the No. 12 DW7. In 2013, Jakes competed for Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing and notably won a second place during the second race in Detroit (Michigan).
