Reigning champion Scott Dixon (Ganassi) was the fastest after the first two free practice sessions on the Grand Prix of Indianapolis track. He is ahead of the French overall for the day simon pagenaud (Schmidt Peterson Motorsports), second fastest time at 19 thousandths and Sébastien Bourdais (KV Racing) at 0″05. Franck Montagny took 22nd place. The race on the Infield of the 500 Mile oval will take place tomorrow.
