Sunday January 8, around fifteen members of the HVM, Dreyer & Reinbold Racing, Bryan Herta Autosport teams, as well as suppliers Xtrac (gearbox) and Engine Developments Ltd (Judd, for engines), attended the integration of the 6-liter twin-turbo V2,2 in the new Dallara DW12 chassis. The next day, Monday, under the watchful eye of Olivier Picquenot, Lotus Motorsport program manager in IndyCar, they made sure everything was working before the first run of the package which will take place next Friday, January 13, at Palm Beach International Raceway, Florida.
