Will Power (Team Penske) set the best time in practice for the Alabama Grand Prix by completing a lap of Barber Motorsports Park in 1'07''0198. The 2014 champion was almost a tenth ahead of Scott Dixon (Chip Ganassi Racing), while James Hinchcliffe and Carlos Munoz were ahead of simon pagenaud (Team Penske) in fifth place. Sebastian Bourdais (KVSH Racing) follows in sixth place, three tenths from the benchmark.
