Will Power, outgoing champion of the IndyCar Series, dominated the first test session of 2015 in St Petersburg, Florida. The American, a resident of Team Penske, set the best time in 1'01″470 and leads in his wake his teammates Juan-Pablo Montoya and Helio Castroneves. Scott Dixon (Ganassi) ranks 4th just ahead of the first Frenchman Sébastien Bourdais (KV Racing). simon pagenaud (Team Penske) finished in 9th place, 0″547 behind Power.
