The officials of IndyCar Series penalized several entries in the Indianapolis 500. The heaviest sanction goes to Dale Coyne Racing with a $10.000 fine (5.000 outstanding) and six races under probation following a dangerous restart of the DW12 – Honda n°19 in the pit lane leading to contact with a mechanic officiating on No. 18, the unfortunate man being injured in the ankle.
