simon pagenaud received the Rookie of the year award last night during the awards ceremony for the 2012 season of the year.Indycar Series (photos here). The Frenchman, who defended the colors of Sam Schmidt Motorsports and Honda, performed very well, and very regularly, during his first season in the category, notably reaching the podium four times.
