California was shaken by an earthquake measuring 6,1 on the Richter scale around 3:20 a.m. (12:20 p.m. in France), the epicenter of which was detected 10km deep northwest of American Canyon. However, this city is located only 24km from the Sonoma circuit. If the driversIndyCar were awakened by the tremors, the organizers announced that the infrastructure had not been damaged and that the weekend program remained unchanged. No injuries were reported.
