Tristan Vautier (Dale Coyne Racing – Honda) was sanctioned following the Pocono event (Pennsylvania) after his collision with Graham Rahal (Rahal Letterman Lanigan – Honda), on the 93rd lap of the 500 miles contested last Sunday.
In addition to a $10 fine, the Frenchman, who was on probation until the end of the season since Fontana (California) last June, loses three points in the Drivers' standings and will not be able to take part in the first two hours of the Friday's practice session in Sonoma, California, scene of the season finale.
