The Mexican Alfonso Celis Jr, who debuted in IndyCar at Road America last June, will return to the seat of the DW12 n°32 of Juncos Racing, on September 2 in Portland, for the penultimate event of the 2018 championship season car American.
Celis Jr will drive in the car that notably saw Rene Binder and Kyle Kaiser pass through during this 2018 campaign. “We had a great weekend with him at Road America, comments Team Principal Ricardo Juncos, who saw Celis Jr defend his colors in Indy Lights this year, at the event in Alabama.
His knowledge and feedback on the car provided our team with very valuable and important data. I'm confident he will have another good weekend and we look forward to having him back in the car later this month. »
