Scott Dixon won the Bridgestone Indy Japan 300 at Motegi, taking advantage of the result to move into the lead of the overall championship standings.Indycar Series. Dario Franchitti, second in the race, remains in second place in the championship. Ryan Briscoe, 18th in Motegi, is now on the third step of the podium in the general classification, after occupying first place at the start of the weekend. Everything will be decided in Miami, on October 10, during the last race of the year.
